II. Year Calendar Sequences: 1580 to 1599 A.D.
International Version

Julian ... January 1, 1580 to October 4, 1582
Gregorian .... October 15, 1582 to December 31, 1599 

              1580 - 13   1590 -  2     In 1582, the Julian Year Calendar #2 is used up through Thursday
              1581 -  1   1591 -  3     October 4th, when Pope Gregory XIII orders 10 days dropped. This
              1582 - 2/6  1592 - 11     makes the next day Friday October 15th. From this point until
              1583 -  7   1593 -  6     the end of 1582, Gregorian Year Calendar #6 is used.
              1584 -  8   1594 -  7
