"Tomorrow Never Knows" - The last song on the 1966 "Revolver" album was among the first recorded. Can you
imagine what it must have been like on the first take (April 6, 1966)? Surely,
the recording studio personnel must have realized that things were going to be a
little different from that point on. Wikipedia article on the making of the song.

ABBA
If a lot of you think that it is just about "Waterloo", "Mamma Mia" and "Dancing Queen", then you are definitely on the extreme outside!!! Come on in and take a much closer look.
Song titles in Blue or Purple color link to YouTube videos, which open in a new window or tab.
UPDATE: December 14th 2009 The Official ABBA You-Tube channel has removed all the ABBA song videos, and left only the promotional videos. These removals are
due to a copyright issue in the U.S.A. (and maybe some other countries too). No other reasons were given. This is, of course, a very
unfortunate occurance. We can only hope that the copyright issue will soon be resolved and the song videos restored.

Fittingly, Agnetha has the "last say" in this section. The "What Now" lyrics are something of a paradox, as all of us do care.

Perhaps someone out there knows the title, artist and source of a piece of music I heard on the March 1997 Academy
Awards (aka Oscars) presentation, as background music for the "In Memoriam" segment (introduced by actress Angela
Bassett) that salutes deceased stars and contributors. The last portion of this music is also heard at the end of
NBC's Sept 26 1999 Ryder Cup telecast.
An MP3 recording of the afore-mentioned "In Memoriam" segment (music only) is available for downloading just by
clicking on the "MP3 Recording of Music" link above. While the music plays, you'll hear intermittent applause as
the audience pays respect to the various deceased personalities.
Again, if you recognize the music and know the source, please ID that source, along with the song's title and the
artist(s) who composed and/or performed it. E-Mail and guestbook links are found at the bottom of this page.
