  10 3.11 1,288 20 4.05+ 186,282.46

yX = What power the Warp Factor is to be raised to. Example: Warp 7 »» 385 = 7 raised to the 3.06-th power

C = Speed of Light: 186,282.46 miles per second
How fast a starship can travel depends on gravity and radiation fields, density of the space-fabric it is passing through, as well as location--
be it inside a galaxy or outside a galaxy.

Inside a galaxy, the maximum safe cruising speed is Warp Factor-7, while the maximum emergency speed is Warp Factor-10.

About 1,ooo to 5,ooo light-years outside a galaxy, much higher speeds begin to be achievable. The maximum safe cruising speed outside
a galaxy is Warp Factor-16, while the maximum emergency speed outside of a galaxy is Warp Factor-19.
