Revision of current S.B.S. Championship format
NOTE ... Players in the first five categories are guaranteed entry even if this pushes
field size above 50. Furthermore, each professional beyond the 50th will
receive at least as much money as is offered for 50th place.

» Last five calendar years - provided that player also won anything carrying at
least a five-year exemption in the same year as that of the S.B.S. win.
» Last three calendar years - provided that player does not satisfy requirement
for the five-year S.B.S. invitation.

Doral-CA Invitational
Revision of current WGC-CA Invitational format
NOTE ... Players in the first six categories are guaranteed entry even if this
pushes field size above 70. Furthermore, each professional beyond the
70th will receive at least as much money as is offered for 70th place.
1. The Defending Champion.
2. Current Winners of - Masters Tournament, US Open, British Open Championship,
PGA Championship, Players Championship, SONY Grand Finale,
Mercedes-Benz Winners Challenge, Bridgestone World Series
of Golf, BMW Western Open and Canadian Open by RBC.
3. Participants on both sides of a Biennial Team Competition (Presidents Cup or
Ryder Cup) from the previous calendar year.
4. The Final Top 30 PGA Tour Official Money Leaders of the preceeding year.
5. The current Top 15 PGA Tour Official Money Leaders one and two weeks prior to
the start of the Doral-CA Invitational.
6. Players among the Top 50 Leaders on the two most recently published Official
World Golf Ranking weekly lists prior to the start of the Doral-CA Invitational.
7. If not otherwise eligible, and if needed to complete a field of 70, players
beyond those selected from Category-6. Priority -- most recent list, first
available player; next most recent list, first available player; then,
alternating between most recent and next most recent lists for next available
player.

Bridgestone World Series of Golf

3. Winners of official money PGA Tour events (other than those in Categories 1 and 2)
since the last Bridgestone World Series of Golf, provided that such events are
among the Top 15 highest ranked in terms of Official World Golf Ranking field
strength.
4. Winners of selected events on various International Tours since the previous
year's Bridgestone World Series of Golf.
5. If not otherwise eligible, and if needed to complete a field of 50, the first
available winner(s) of official money PGA Tour events following winners chosen
in Category-3.

Revision of current Tour Championship format
1. The Top 50 Leaders on the Official PGA Tour Money List up to the start of the
SONY Grand Finale
2. In each case of a vacancy among the Top 50, the first available player on the
Official PGA Tour Money List up to the start of the SONY Grand Finale, beginning
at the 51st position.
3. If not otherwise eligible, and provided that player (A) is currently among the
Top 90 Official Money Leaders -AND- (B) currently has at least 56 competitive
rounds, --
»» Winner of the previous year's SONY Grand Finale.
»» Previous year's Season Championship winner.

5 wins ... Difference of least $1,000,000 between the Leading Money Winner

While no limits would exist on winning the Season Championship Platinum Cup
cash prize, there would be a limit of five different occasions in which the
10-year exemption that comes with the Platinum prize could be won. Also,
each time that a 10-year exemption is won, it can not be won again until
the 3rd calendar year after the last such win.
